In short
City Antalya costs about ₺3,065 a day budget, ₺6,985 mid-range and ₺20,620 comfortable per person, including the 1% accommodation tax in force until 31 December 2026. The bed is the whole story: ₺1,500 against ₺12,000. Resort Antalya prices differently again, because all-inclusive folds food and drink into the room rate.
Prices checked August 2026.

We only link to services we would use ourselves, no brand pays for placement or for a favourable write-up, and every price in this article was researched independently.
Antalya’s cost has one variable that swamps every other: whether you book a room or a resort. The gap between a Kaleiçi boutique night and a mid-tier all-inclusive is a factor of four to eight, and it decides the whole budget.

Editor’s note
Two words cause most of the budget mistakes here: per person. Belek and Kemer resorts quote all-inclusive rates per person per night. Kaleici guesthouses quote per room. Comparing those two numbers directly is how a trip ends up costing roughly twice what was planned.
The short answer
City Antalya, per person per day
| Budget | Mid-range | Comfortable | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bed | ₺1,500 | ₺3,500 | ₺12,000 |
| Accommodation tax (1%) | ₺15 | ₺35 | ₺120 |
| Food | ₺800 | ₺1,750 | ₺4,000 |
| Transport | ₺150 | ₺500 | ₺2,000 |
| Entries and activities | ₺600 | ₺1,200 | ₺2,500 |
| Per day | ≈ ₺3,065 (~€55) | ≈ ₺6,985 (~€126) | ≈ ₺20,620 (~€371) |
Resort Antalya, per person per day
| Tier | Per night | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mid to upper-mid | ₺8,000–18,000 (€145–325) | Food and drink included |
| Luxury | ₺18,000–40,000 (€325–720) | |
| Ultra-premium villa, peak | ₺40,000–100,000+ |
⚠️ Two caveats we are not going to paper over. Our source does not state whether those resort figures are per room or per person — check before you book, because the difference is enormous. And we could not establish a credible budget all-inclusive band, or the price gaps between half board, all-inclusive and ultra all-inclusive, from any source we trust. We are not inventing them.
Trip totals, city base
| Length | Budget | Mid-range | Comfortable |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 days | ₺12,260 (~€221) | ₺27,940 (~€503) | ₺82,480 (~€1,485) |
| 7 days | ₺21,455 (~€386) | ₺48,895 (~€880) | ₺144,340 (~€2,599) |
Flights are extra. Antalya has direct service from 165 destinations in 47 countries, so most European visitors will not route through Istanbul.
The tax
1% from 1 May to 31 December 2026, down from 2%, under Presidential Decree 11263 published in the Official Gazette on 1 May. It reverts to 2% on 1 January 2027. Charged on the accommodation price excluding VAT and shown as a separate line.

Getting there and around
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Tram or bus 600/800, airport to centre | ₺42 — AntalyaKart mandatory, no cash |
| Contactless bank card instead of AntalyaKart | ₺54 (₺4 commission) |
| Transfer between tram and bus | FREE since March 2026 |
| HAVAŞ airport shuttle | ₺220 |
| Taxi, airport to Kaleiçi | ₺900 |
| Taxi to Belek / Kemer / Side / Alanya | ₺1,900 / ₺2,650 / ₺3,700 / ₺7,000 |
| City taxi | ₺50 opening, ₺50/km, ₺200 minimum |
| Car hire, from the airport | from ₺2,040/day |
| Car hire, Side or Kundu | from ₺2,825/day |
| Car hire, Kaş | from ₺5,038/day |
| Coach: Antalya–Kemer / Alanya / Kaş | ₺170 / ₺410 / ₺485 |
| Coach: Antalya–Cappadocia | from ₺799, 7h45–9.5h |
Two things worth knowing. Renting a car at the airport is cheaper than in the resort towns — the reverse of the usual advice, and Kaş is two and a half times the airport rate. And free transfers since March 2026 mean a tram-then-bus journey now costs one ₺42 fare instead of two.
The tram does not serve Terminal 2, where nearly all international flights arrive. Budget ₺220 for HAVAŞ or ₺900 for a taxi unless you fancy a shuttle between terminals first.
Entry fees
| Site | Fee |
|---|---|
| Antalya Museum | Closed — demolished |
| Aspendos | €15 |
| Perge | €11 |
| Side combined (city + museum) | €10 |
| Side city alone | €7 |
| Side Museum alone | €5 |
| Termessos | Disputed — ₺70 or ₺10 depending on source |
| Olympos | €10 |
| Chimaera / Yanartaş | ₺45, cash only, Museum Pass invalid |
| Phaselis | €10 |
| Myra, Demre | €13 |
| St Nicholas Church, Demre | €17 |
| Pamukkale / Hierapolis | €30 |
| Hadrian’s Gate, Hıdırlık Tower, Kaleiçi, Clock Tower, marina, bazaar | FREE |
| Side streets, harbour, Temple of Apollo surroundings | FREE |
| Lower Düden waterfall | FREE |
| Upper Düden, Kurşunlu, Manavgat waterfalls | Paid — amounts unverified |
Museum Pass Mediterranean: €90, seven days
| Itinerary | Separate | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Aspendos, Perge, Side, Phaselis, Olympos, Myra, St Nicholas | €86 | Loses by €4 |
| The above plus Pamukkale | €116 | Wins by €26 |
| A four-day city trip (Aspendos, Perge, Side, Olympos) | €46 | Loses badly |
| Two resort excursions | ~€25 | Loses very badly |
It needs Pamukkale, or eight sites in seven days. Chimaera and the waterfalls are not covered, which pushes it further out of reach. Most visitors should skip it.
Beaches and boats
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Konyaaltı and Lara, public sections | Free |
| Mid-range beach club, Konyaaltı | ₺300–600 per person per day |
| Luxury club, Lara or Belek | ₺800+, often partly redeemable against food |
| Kaputaş entry | ₺60 per person |
| Kaputaş sunbed or umbrella | ₺300 each |
| Kaleiçi harbour boat, 45 min | ₺300 |
| Kaleiçi harbour, 2 h | ₺600 |
| Kemer day trip | ₺850–1,250 |
| Suluada from Antalya | ₺1,450 |
| Kekova sunken city, shared | ₺1,250–2,000 |
| Kekova private charter | ₺11,700+ |
| Köprülü Canyon rafting | ₺799, or ₺1,099 with hotel transfer |
Food
| Meal | Price |
|---|---|
| Simit and çay | ₺50–100 |
| Lentil soup and bread | ₺120–200 |
| Pide or lahmacun | ₺150–250 |
| Lunch in Kaleiçi | ₺400 |
| Fish dinner at the marina | ₺700–1,200 |
| Beer | ₺150–250 |
Menu prices are final. Since 30 January 2026 it has been illegal for a restaurant to add a service charge or cover, to charge for bread or meze you did not order, or to print “10% service will be added”. The fine is ₺3,973 per receipt — one Istanbul restaurant was fined ₺274,137 across 69 bills. If you see *servis* or *kuver* on an Antalya bill in 2026, it is illegal.
Retail alcohol cannot be sold between 22:00 and 06:00. Bars, restaurants and hotel all-inclusive service are unaffected.
Where the money leaks
| Leak | Cost | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Booking a resort when you wanted a city | ₺6,000–16,000 a night | Decide which holiday you are having first |
| Paying by contactless instead of AntalyaKart | ₺12 a journey | Buy the card on arrival |
| Renting a car in Kaş instead of at the airport | ₺3,000 a day | Pick up at AYT |
| Buying the Museum Pass without Pamukkale | €44 | Do the arithmetic |
| Turning up at Chimaera without cash | The whole trip | ₺45, card machine usually broken |
| A ₺800 beach club in Belek | ₺800 | Konyaaltı has free public sections and a mountain view |

Three real budgets

The frugal week — ₺21,455 (~€386) per person
Kaleiçi guesthouse, simit breakfasts, lentil soup lunches, one fish dinner. Tram everywhere on an AntalyaKart. Free half of the old town — Hadrian’s Gate, Hıdırlık, Lower Düden, the marina. Aspendos and Side as the two paid sites. Coach to Olympos. Konyaaltı’s free sections for the beach.
The mid-range four days — ₺27,940 (~€503) per person
Boutique room in a restored mansion, a hire car from the airport for two days, Perge plus Aspendos plus Side, the Olympos and Chimaera evening, a Kaleiçi harbour boat, dinner out every night. This is the version this cluster is written for.
The resort week — from ₺56,000 (~€1,008) per person
Mid-tier all-inclusive at ₺8,000 a night for seven nights, with food and drink included. Add two coach excursions at roughly ₺2,500 each and airport transfers. Check whether the nightly rate is per room or per person — it changes this figure by a factor of two.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a trip to Antalya cost? Staying in the city: about ₺3,065 (~€55) per person per day on a budget, ₺6,985 (~€126) mid-range, ₺20,620 (~€371) comfortable. A mid-tier all-inclusive resort runs ₺8,000–18,000 a night with food and drink included.
Is Antalya cheap? The city is genuinely inexpensive — a good lunch is ₺400, a tram ride ₺42, and half the old town is free. The resort strip is not cheap, though it is all-in. The gap between the two is the largest of any destination we cover.
Is the Museum Pass Mediterranean worth €90? Only with Pamukkale included, or eight-plus sites in seven days. Seven big Antalya sites total €86, just under the pass. A four-day city trip uses about €46 of Ministry sites.
How much is a hotel in Antalya? About ₺2,300 a night for a Kaleiçi boutique room, ₺8,000–18,000 for a mid to upper-mid resort, ₺18,000–40,000 for luxury. Verify whether resort quotes are per room or per person.
How much should I budget for food? ₺800 a day eating simply, ₺1,750 mid-range with a proper dinner, ₺4,000 eating well twice a day. Remember that service charges are now illegal, so menu prices are what you pay.
What is free in Antalya? Hadrian’s Gate, Hıdırlık Tower, all of Kaleiçi, the marina, the Clock Tower, Karaalioğlu Park, the Lower Düden waterfall, the public sections of Konyaaltı and Lara beaches, and the Temple of Apollo surroundings at Side. That is a full day and a half without a ticket.
Do I need to hire a car? For the ancient sites and the Olympos–Chimaera evening, it helps enormously. From ₺2,040 a day at the airport — and notably cheaper there than in Side, Kundu or Kaş.
When is Antalya cheapest? December to February, when much of the resort coast closes and it rains 215–225 mm a month. Among the usable months, October is the value pick: 24.7°C air, 24.2°C sea, four rainy days and peak prices gone.
A note on our numbers
Tax rates, transport fares and the 2026 regulations were verified against Turkish government and municipal sources in August 2026, with exchange rates from the Central Bank of Türkiye. Euro admission fees come from secondary Turkish sources because the Ministry’s tariff pages block automated retrieval — verify at the gate. We have flagged rather than filled the gaps: budget all-inclusive pricing, board-basis differentials, whether resort rates are per room or per person, and the Termessos fee are all unresolved. Daily totals are our own arithmetic on the sourced components.

| Line | Where | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Long day trips — Pamukkale, Demre, Kekova | Klook · KKday | Worth it for the 200 km+ ones |
| Boat trips | Klook | Compare against the harbour price first |
| Site tickets | Tiqets | Peak season only |
| Resort transfer | Kiwitaxi | Belek ₺1,900, Side ₺3,700, Alanya ₺7,000 by taxi. Code TPO5 = 5% off |
| eSIM | Yesim | Cheaper than the airport counters |
The five biggest savings in this article earn us nothing:
- Stay in Kaleiçi rather than a resort — ₺2,300 against ₺8,000–18,000 a night. This one decision is worth more than everything else combined.
- Buy an AntalyaKart — ₺42 a ride instead of ₺54, with free transfers since March 2026.
- Hire the car at the airport, not in Side or Kaş — ₺2,040 against up to ₺5,038 a day.
- Walk the free half of the city — Hadrian’s Gate, Hıdırlık Tower, Kaleiçi, the marina, Lower Düden and the Temple of Apollo surroundings all cost nothing.
- Check your bill. Service charges have been illegal since 30 January 2026, at ₺3,973 per receipt.

Two people, seven days: two worked totals
Abstract daily figures are hard to act on, so here are two specific trips priced line by line, for two people sharing.
Version A — Kaleiçi base, hire car, ruins-focused
| Line | Cost for two |
|---|---|
| Kaleiçi boutique, 7 nights at ₺3,500 | ₺24,500 |
| Accommodation tax 1% | ₺245 |
| Hire car from the airport, 4 days | ₺8,160 |
| Fuel and tolls | ₺2,500 |
| Tram and taxis on the other days | ₺1,500 |
| Entries: Aspendos, Perge, Side, Olympos, Chimaera, Phaselis ×2 | ₺7,300 (~€131) |
| Kaleiçi harbour boat ×2 | ₺600 |
| Köprülü Canyon rafting ×2 | ₺2,198 |
| Food, 7 days ×2 | ₺24,500 |
| Total for two | ≈ ₺71,503 (~€1,287) |
| Per person | ≈ ₺35,750 (~€644) |
Version B — mid-tier all-inclusive, Belek
| Line | Cost for two |
|---|---|
| Resort, 7 nights at ₺12,000 | ₺84,000 |
| Accommodation tax 1% | ₺840 |
| Airport transfer, return, taxi | ₺3,800 |
| Two coach excursions ×2 | ₺10,000 |
| Entry fees on those excursions | ₺3,000 |
| Drinks and meals outside the hotel | ₺4,000 |
| Total for two | ≈ ₺105,640 (~€1,902) |
| Per person | ≈ ₺52,820 (~€951) |
⚠️ And here is the trap: if that ₺12,000 resort rate turns out to be per person rather than per room, version B becomes roughly ₺190,000 (~€3,420) for two. Get the total for your whole party in writing before you pay.
The comparison, honestly. Version A costs about two-thirds of version B and gives you six ancient sites, a car and a completely different trip. Version B gives you a sand beach, food and drink you never think about, and someone else looking after the children. Neither is wrong. But the ruins version is genuinely cheaper, which is not what the marketing suggests.
What the season does to the price
| Period | What happens |
|---|---|
| July–August | Peak. 35–36°C, sea 28°C, occupancy over 95%, highest rates. Book 3–6 months out |
| May, September, October | The value window. Warm, much cheaper, and the sea is still 20–26°C |
| April, November | Cheaper again, sea 17–21°C. Fine for ruins, cold for swimming |
| December–February | 215–225 mm of rain a month. Much of the resort coast closes. City Antalya still works |
Foreign arrivals fell 7 per cent in the first seven months of 2026, yet August occupancy still exceeded 95 per cent. The season has compressed into the peak, which means the shoulder months are softer than they used to be. That is where the value has moved.
A cost-cutting checklist
| Do this | Saves |
|---|---|
| Stay in Kaleiçi rather than a resort | ₺5,700–15,700 per night |
| Buy an AntalyaKart on arrival | ₺12 per journey, plus free transfers |
| Hire the car at the airport, not in Kaş | up to ₺3,000 per day |
| Skip the Museum Pass unless you add Pamukkale | €44 |
| Use the free public beach sections | ₺300–800 per day |
| Do Perge, Aspendos and Side by car, not by tour | roughly ₺4,000 for two |
| Check the bill for an illegal service charge | 10% |
| Travel in October rather than August | 20–40% on accommodation |
Before you book
Antalya has direct flights from most of Europe in summer and very few in winter, which is why the same trip can cost twice as much in different months. Check fares to Antalya. If Termessos, Olympos or Side are on your list, a hire car for two days costs less than the equivalent tours and lets you leave before the coaches arrive.
